Hi, I’m Virginia,
Coach, author, and speaker working at the intersection of personal growth, gender equality and cultural change.
Where it all started
After 8 years in corporate, and after my second child, I decided to focus on social change. It felt urgent to change the world and I wanted to do my bit!
My passion for gender equality led me to create The Feminist Shop, an ethical brand and hub. From there came speaking, training, and consultancy work across the UK, Ireland, and beyond, all focused on turning awareness into action.
Through Childhood Unlimited and the bilingual Mika & Lolo series, I explored how stereotypes shape identity from the beginning, taking that work into classrooms and boardrooms to challenge assumptions and spark better choices.
Something was clear from the beginning systems only change when the people inside them do hence my accredited training to become a coach, the most personal form of the work I do. My coaching is warm but honest. It helps people untangle what is truly theirs from what is shaped by expectation or bias.
Each part of my work feeds the others. Coaching makes my training more grounded. Writing makes my coaching sharper. Speaking widens the conversation... and ultimately that is how we change we the world, one conversation at a time.
A little more
about me
I’m Spanish by birth but based in Northern Ireland, where I live with my family (including 2 kids and 5 chickens!) but I work internationally.
I still talk with my hands, think in two languages, believe humour is one of the best ways to make people listen and dance like nobody is watching.
I’m a trained coach, a traditionally published author, and a convinced advocate for equality. Most of all, I’m a believer in people (you shouldn’t work in social justice if you are not a relentless optimist!) I believe in our capacity to learn, grow and make things better, for ourselves and for others.
LET’S GET STARTED
If you want to spark change, for yourself, your team, or your organisation, let’s talk about how I can help.
